1- In a faraway village, lives a hardworking farmer who has grape fields. Year after year his grapery gives rich harvest, and the farmer becomes very successful. He has three sons, who are young and energetic but never bother to work. As the farmer grows old, he begins to worry about his sons’ future.
2-Then he falls very ill and realizes his death is fast approaching. He calls the sons and tells them,
“Dear sons, I see my death nearing me, but before I bid goodbye to all of you, I want to share a secret. There is a treasure hidden under the fields. Dig the entire field after my death, to find it.”
3- The old farmer dies, and his sons perform the last rites. The sons begin to dig for the treasure without leaving any part of the field but find nothing. However, their digging of the field leads to a healthy crop and results in huge earnings. These earnings make the sons realize what their father meant.
Moral: Hard work always pays off. Fruits of hard work are always sweet whether or not they are in the form you desire.

1- Dans un village lointain, vivait un fermier travailleur qui possédait des champs de vignes. Année après année, sa vigne donnait une riche récolte, et le fermier devenait très prospère. Il a trois fils, jeunes et énergiques, mais qui ne se préoccupent jamais de travailler. Alors que le fermier vieillit, il commence à s’inquiéter pour l’avenir de ses fils.
2- Il tombe ensuite très malade et réalise que sa mort est imminente. Il appelle ses fils et leur dit : « Chers fils, je vois ma mort approcher, mais avant de vous dire adieu, je veux vous révéler un secret. Il y a un trésor caché sous les champs. Creusez tout le champ après ma mort pour le trouver. »
3- Le vieux fermier meurt, et ses fils accomplissent les rites funéraires. Les fils commencent à creuser pour trouver le trésor sans laisser aucune partie du champ non explorée, mais ils ne trouvent rien. Cependant, leur travail acharné mène à une récolte abondante et à de grands gains. Ces bénéfices amènent les fils à comprendre ce que leur père voulait dire. Moral : Le travail acharné paie toujours. Les fruits du travail sont toujours doux, qu’ils se manifestent ou non sous la forme que vous souhaitez.
