1- Once upon a time, a man found a butterfly that was starting to hatch from its cocoon. He sat down and watched the butterfly for hours as it struggled to force itself through a tiny hole. Then, it suddenly stopped making progress and looked like it was stuck.
2- Therefore, the man decided to help the butterfly out. He took a pair of scissors and cut off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily, although it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
3- The man thought nothing of it, and he sat there waiting for the wings to enlarge to support the butterfly. However, that never happened. The butterfly spent the rest of its life unable to fly, crawling around with small wings and a swollen body.
4- Despite the man’s kind heart, he didn’t understand that the restricting cocoon and the struggle needed by the butterfly to get itself through the small hole were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings to prepare itself for flying once it was free.

1- Il était une fois un homme qui trouva un papillon commençant à éclore de son cocon. Il s’assit et regarda le papillon pendant des heures alors qu’il luttait pour se frayer un chemin à travers un petit trou. Puis, il cessa soudain de progresser et sembla être coincé.
2- Par conséquent, l’homme décida d’aider le papillon. Il prit une paire de ciseaux et coupa le reste du cocon. Le papillon sortit alors facilement, bien que son corps soit enflé et ses ailes petites et ratatinées.
3- L’homme n’y pensa pas davantage, et il resta là à attendre que les ailes s’agrandissent pour soutenir le papillon. Cependant, cela n’arriva jamais. Le papillon passa le reste de sa vie incapable de voler, rampant avec de petites ailes et un corps enflé.
4- Malgré la bonne intention de l’homme, il ne comprit pas que le cocon restrictif et la lutte nécessaire du papillon pour se frayer un chemin à travers le petit trou étaient la manière de Dieu de forcer le fluide du corps du papillon dans ses ailes pour se préparer à voler une fois libre.
